OPEN ARCHITECTURE EAST: AIA AUSTIN

This week in Austin is the annual Open Architecture East put on by AIA Austin. The tour is a self-guided walking/biking/bus tour of some of East Austin's up and coming architectural firms. Tickets are $5.00 and all benefits are being donated to Uplift Austin, an awesome local not-for-profit, check out there website at the bottom of the post. Besides supporting a great cause your $5 donation gets you a map of the firms on the tour (helpful since its "self-guided") and architecturally-correct refreshments along the way.
